【publish / 販売開始】Owl amigurumi pattern / フクロウのあみぐるみ編み図

うっかり前回ブログを書いてから一ヶ月経ってしまいました。
早いものでもう4月も半ばですね。今年みたいに雨が多い4月は5年ぶりと記憶しています。

Time really flies! A month has passed since I wrote here before.

さて、雑貨屋さんなんかでハリネズミ、バンビ、くまさん、リス、ウサギなんかにならんで人気の高いフクロウですが、わたしも結構好きです。ナチュラルさと70年代的サイケデリックさを併せ持つような感じで編めないかなということはわりと随分前から考えていました。

I don’t know about outside Japan, but it seems alike here, people always love residents in forest such as rabbits, bears, squirrels, deers, hedgehogs and owls. So as I.
I was always thinking about crocheting this natural, psychedelic and wise bird , but didn’t come up with the idea how I start.

どこからどう編もうか？というところでなかなかアイデアがわかずほったらかしにしていたのですが、あるときふとフクロウって目の部分が輪切りみたいになっていないか？と思いまして、そこから編んでいったのが今回のパターンになります。

One day I suddenly notice that owls’ eyes seem to me like round-sliced something. I started that point and finished this pattern.

輪切りです。Sliced.

幸運な偶然も重なりまして、というのもこの目の部分のモコモコした感じはリング編みで表現してあるのですが、この方法のアイデアはわたしの完全なオリジナルではありません。

ずいぶん以前から「Crochet a little」というブログのファンでした。かぎ針編み、とくにドイリーやレース編みの動物モチーフがとても素敵なブログで、以前からオリジナルを作るにしてもあみぐるみに偏りがちだった私には大変刺激的な作品をたくさん発表されています。

こちら、本当にキュートなのでぜひ編んでいただきたいのですが、このベニテングダケのカサの部分、わかるでしょうか。このもしゃっとしたところのアイデアをいただいて今回フクロウの目を編みました。フクロウを編もう！と思った時に以前編ませていただいたこちらのことをふと思い出してやってみたら、なんともいえずいい感じになったわけです。

and you may realize that the mushroom’s pileus texture is very close to what it really is.
I recalled this when I started to make an owl and wanted to use this idea for it.

このリング編み、ちょっと特殊な使い方をしているのでchi-sa-koさんのオリジナルアイデアかな？と思いまして、駄目元でアイデアの使用許可を願い出てみました。
そうしたらすぐにお返事頂いて、ご快諾いただいたのです！

I’ve never seen like this before her pattern, so I thought that was her original idea. That means I need her permission to use it for my works. I mailed her, and she was SURPRISINGLY helpful and soon allow me to use it. I really thank you chi-sa-ko, your kindness and understanding.

ほんとうにchi-sa-koさん、今回はありがとうございました。

そんなこんなでなんとかできあがったフクロウたち、今回はちょっと複雑なパターンなので編み図に加えてフルバージョンの英文パターン、かなりどっさりの写真付き詳細説明も盛り込みました。なんと36ページでございます。

And finally I managed to finish the pattern, having 36 pages of charts, written pattern, photo instructions. This time the work get little complicated and this is the reason the pattern requires such amount of pages.
